You Silly, Silly Woman

I bet she thought this would never get out. I would strongly urge her to cancel doing anything that involves leaving her house. It just goes to show just how stupid people can be. I hope they take her daughter away from her. Her best line was 'He's not even Black, He's a Muslim, his mother's White'. How stupid can you be! He's not black but he has the same complexion as she does. If this were 60 - 80 odd years ago he would be in the fields picking the cotton just the same. If a lot Black Americans looked back far enough into their family history, they would find white heritage in there too. Judging by the young ladies complexion she would be one of them. She's clearly not stable & if you know her do the right thing, get her some much needed help.

Frankly, This Pisses Me Off

So as usual the Police Service (when are you gonna go back to being a Force to be reckoned with) get it wrong again. Amy Winehouse, was caught on video smoking Crack. But because of a legal loophole she has been let off the hook. The police couldn't tell from the tape if Amy was doing Cocaine or Speed (which is Class B) so she wasn't charged. I have no problem with amy wasting her life away. If she wants to do that it's up to her. i do have a problem with the police for not actually charging her and the government for its appalling stance on drugs in this country. If using a class B drug is an offence, surely she would've been charged but she wasn't charged at all. My little girl sings Amy's songs & i'll be damned if i let her use Amy as a role model in life. But the supposed upholders of the law in this country should be setting an example for our kids by making an example of those in the public eye that openly flout the law.

Look at the pictutre above. When Frank first dropped about 4 or so years ago I was singing Amy's praises, both for her looks & her talent. Amy's singing voice is phenomenal but it was barely getting a mention outside of RnB circles until Mark Ronson jumped on board & Salaam Remi stepped his game up. All those who have said that she can't carry a james bond theme only need listen to, Love Is A Losing Game & they will soon change their tune. However, this girl should not get the honour of adding her name to a legendary list when she is only in the newspapers these days for doing the wrong thing. If all the reports are true, Britney Spears is now back on her A game & i have no doubt that at some point, Amy has to realise the full consequences of her actions & do the same. If that means she needs to be charged & punished for breaking the law to do so, then so be it.

Like it or not, people in the public eye are role models for our kids. There every word & action are worshipped by some & reveared by others. The more criminal element of our society are a different proposition altogether. But it's no coincidence that the over materialism of todays society coincides with the rise of the b-list celebrity culture. People live in a house for a couple of months & think that they deserve fame & fortune. There was a time when a celebrity actually had to be good at something & not simply alledge to sleeping with a famous footballer (soccer player) or other personality. People are spending themselves into severe debt & bankruptcy simply because there need to keep up with the latest WAG must have purchases. They way things are right now, future generations are gonna be even worse that we are.

I don't want to hear shit like 'i never asked to be a role model'. How Dare You! You wanted to be a star & you wanted to be famous. Therefore you must take responsibility for what goes with that status. Some of you do & i applaud the work that some of you do for your communities. The ones that don't need to check them selves. Those of them that regard the law as your own personal Cool-O-Meter need the law to give them the punishment they deserve. Not only for their own good but for the good of our future society as a whole.

RIDICULOUS: Throw Away The Key

Raymond Home was convivted of more than 20 sex crimes against children including Rape. He was jailed for 12 years without parole but several Austrailian experts in the field all said that it was more a matter of when, not if, he would reoffend. So, because Mr. Home is still a UK citizen, they sent him back here. I have no beef with the Australian government because I would've done exactly the same. But why oh why is he now free to change his name & choose where he wants to live with the taxpayer paying for it. Why don't the so called allied countries of the westrn world share information on an area of crime far more disgraceful than murder yet carries a far lighter sentencing structure. Raymond Home had commited crimes of a similar nature before but is still able to walk the streets. Why isn't there an international network of intelligence agencies that can share information on these types of people. Oh... wait... they already exist, there just crap at doing there jobs. And i really hope that he will be put under some type of surveillance. The UK taxpayer would gladly foot the bill for such a high risk offender. Take a look at that face people and memorise it both with & without the beard because he could be anywhere in this country living near any of our kids.

Dr. Dr. I feel like a fool...

Get this. The department of law & pensions have sanctioned benefits to be given to a man with more than one wife. When I read that I nearly chocked on my weetabix. The last time I checked bygamy was illegal in the uk. So why the hell have they let that one through. Apparently its the same reason that our 'current' archbishop doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut. Sorry Dr. Williams but implying that something is 'unavoidable' is perhaps not the best way to start a discussion. Maybe the words 'we need to discuss...' would be a much better alternative.

The uk is already the most cosmopolitan country on earth. The amount of different cultured we can fit on such a small island is astounding and probably why I just can't bring myself to up sticks & leave. But being accepting of other cultures & bending over backwards for them are two different things. Now i'm not talking about the UK as a nation as we should always welcome law abiding people who are going to contribute to our economy with open arms. I also believe that our government should afford them the same opportunities as everyone else. But making changes to accommodate 1 particulicular race is ridiculous. Technically these men are breaking the law when they land at Heathrow. What they should do is tell them so & give them the chance to live within the law. This change also implies that muslim men are exempt from the bygamy law. Am I therefore allowed to become a muslim & follow suit? Any other country would laugh it out of contention & government leaders the world over must be laughing their arses off right about now. There is a saying that I use quite a bit that goes 'Only In America'. I'm now changeing that to a new one, 'Only In Great(?) Britain'.

And before you ask a silly question. I am not dissing muslims & would never consider doing so. The people in power who for one reason or another can't get their act together are who i'm aiming at.

Stamp This isht Out!!!

They say that over here we are ore tolerant.
That racism is more overtly prevalent in the US
That we Europeans are finally starting to get to get the message...

This picture tells me otherwise.

Lewis Hamilton, The reason young black people now regularly watch Formula 1, suffered ridiculous racist taunts & chants while he was testing his car in Barcelona. Lewis himself says that he expected some kind of backlash after his feud with former teammate Fernando Alonso (who is spanish). But the level of abuse was upsetting. I hope he didn't mean that he expected some kind of racist abuse. He says that he was simply protected his position in trying to win a championship & that his reputation in Spain has been severly damaged. Why the hell is he sounding so apologetic towards these people. I can understand him not wanting to fan the flames but there comes a point where you have to just say This Is Wrong.

But the bigger question is, if these idiots walked in to the circuit looking like they do in the picture, why weren't they stopped before entering. If they did in fact get themselves ready once they entered the circuit, why didn't someone stop them then. If nobody realised what these idiots were doing until they started the chanting, why were they allowed to do it when hamilton walked out to start testing & when he went back to his team base after he had finished some minutes later. The security personnel let them get on with it & the people around them did the same. That means that they must condone what was going on, which makes them racist too. Then Formula 1 chiefs come out with a statement saying that if it happens again Spain will lose it's Grand Prix. Again, what the hell do you mean if it happens again. There comes a point where you simply cant tolerate this kind of behaviour. I suppose the money & logistics involved in moving a Grand Prix so close to the start of the new season is just too much for these guys. Yet i suspect that if there were 5 or 6 black drivers in Formula 1 & they all made the right noises something more substantial than cheap talk may have come to pass.

My mother was going to start a business with her partner in Spain. She is black & her partner is white. They are no longer going to do that because of the abuse we suffered over there. We had cab drivers taking our money then calling us dogs as we got out of the cab. People pointed at us like we were weirdo's. There were some really gracious people out there but some are the most outwardly racist people i have ever come across. I thought that some of the things i have experienced went out with the black & white TV.

When Englands football (soccer) players suffered racist abuse the spanich football authorities were only given a paltry fine of a few thousand pounds. This is not a deterrant. If you're going to get tough, The 'Kick Racism Out' campaign (as good as it is) is not enough. If The powers that be really want to Kick it Out. Fines would be the least viable option on their punishment list.

Quit Bugging Me!!!

The man pictured above is Sadiq Khan. He is the man in the middle of a parliamentary storm here in the UK involving possible terrorist plots & Al-Qaeda connections. Conversations between himself & one his longtime friend, Babal Ahmed,  were being bugged by the Metropolitan Police Service. As it transpires the police were suspicious of Ahmed's activities so the recordings had allegedly taken place in 2005 & 2006. They were made while Khan visited Ahmed in prison as he is awaiting extradition to the US. There is now a government probe into the matter because there is a code of practice known as the Wilson Doctrine that forbids conversations between English MP's & there constituents from being bugged.

First of all, why the kcuf not!!! What the hell makes English MP's so special that even if there is strong suspisison that they themselves may be involved with crime that they cannot be bugged but the rest of us can. You may have noticed that i am only including english MP's as i write. This is because any Scottich Parliament members or members of the Welsh Assembly are allowed to be bugged. Whats the bloody difference. Just to clarify, I don't give a damn if the suspects are muslim. Whether you are white black brown yellow green blue or purple, if you're being investigated like the rest of us, there is a possibility of a crime taking place or if there is a threat to our national security there shouldn't even be a question to answer. That the MP's are even upset about this in the first placxe is ridiculous. What they are basically saying is that there could be a mass murderer or a rapist or someone with the power to start world war 3 in there midst and there could be strong evidence to suggest any of those allegations. The fact of the matter is that the government would rather let that slide than have the criminal element among them bugged & caught. This disturbs me.

We've already had the situation with Tory MP Derek Conway. It was not exactly a serious criminal offence but if these things can go on for so long before being discovered, what the hell else is going on that we don't yet know about. It's just another example of one rule for them & another for the rest of us. How do these so called guardians of cour civil rights expect us to trust them when all they do is undermine us at every turn. The possibilities of wrongdoing is endless but as usual it is going to take something drastic to happen before people start to take notice. Let's see how long that takes shall we.

This Affects Us Over Here Too

2 Episodes of the brilliant Boondocks (UK get familiar) have been banned because of their portrayal of BET. In one of the episodes the people upstairs at BET are shown up as Dr. Evil and his/her number 2. Huey goes on a hunger strike in protest of the way that bet is run. Apparently all clips of these episodes have been banned. But thanks to the 2dopeboyz i have one said clip for you to see. And just how is the UK affected by this? Our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews, nieces & godchildren are watching the same channel they are over there. Watch!

WTF: Black On Black Disgrace

For fuck sake man, sometimes it pains me to know that i share the same composition of melenin as some people in this world. Your life can be in dire straits. You could be trying to vote in someone that is not corrupt (good luck), not out for himself and not a money grabber. Yu could be living in a shante town in the middle of a rat trap with barely 2 pennies to scrape together while watching your own children get more and more malnourished with each passing day. You could be trying desperately to find some way to get you & your family out of the hell hole that your in & living somewhare that is barely recognizeable as a home. You could be going through all this while watching everyone of your neighbours go through exactly the same.

Does any of the above mean that you can burn down a church with  more than 20 young children and elderly people inside? The violence started over vote rigging. During the lastest government elections in Kenya, not all of the votes were counted before the results were announced & then it started. Looting, beatings, shootings and even though the relevant authorities are planning to do a full audit of all the votes and the voting system itself, the violence hasn't subsided. The children & elderly people in question were taking refude in the church as the violence & rioting went on outside. There were 400 in total in the church at the time who happened to be members of the Kikuyu thnic group (the same as re-elected president, Mwai Kibaki.

No matter who they were in that church, ias much as i support the cause there's no justification. It's events like these that occasionally make me wonder why i feel so compelled to support some of the hardships that are prevelent in the mother land, in the first place. Stealing from and opposing the system is one thing. Torching elderly women & children is another entirely. Passive resistance may be a thing of the pass but strike against the people that matter, not the very people who never asked for any of this to happen.

And what has this got to do with hip hop? Nothing what so ever, sometimes though, there are bigger things going on in this world than music. Yes we love what the culture can give us (not just the music) but we need to be alive to whats going on in the world outside of Ipods, 50 bloody Cent & Air Force One's.

WTF: Swiss Cheese For Brains

Do people have no shame? or Should i realy be asking, do goverments have no shame? after this brainstorm of a video by the Swiss government (which not every member supported) i think it's safe to say that the answer is no. These fools have funded an advertising campaign being shown in Africa. Nothing wrong with that, apart from the fact that it has actually been designed to deter african immigrants from trying to enter Switzerland. The advert starts with a Black immigrant telling his father during a phone call that all is well and he is making money. But he is actually living on the street, being chased by police (seemingly for no reason) and has to beg to survive day to day. The final message of the ad reads ''Don't believe everything you hear, leaving is not always living''. This ad has already been shown in Cameroon & Nigeria and should be aired in other parts of Africa soon.

The first and most glaring gripe with this ad is the obvious racist undertones. Well i say undertones but you could hardly be anymore blatant if you tried. A video designed just for african immigrants and not for migrants in general is just plain disgusting. Then there is the fact that they have actually gotten away with it shows that all the other european governments are all just as happy to have this video made, because apart from one member of the swiss government (who was a legal migrant himself) nobody else has batted an eyelid over it. Also, how the hell did they manage to find someone to play the immigrant in the first place. Either he got paid a comparatively ridiculous amount of money to do it or he simply has no shame at all.

Regardless of who played the main character there is a much bigger and far more disturbing picture of just how far the leaders of the supposedly free world are prepared to go to impose their way of life on the rest of us. Regardless of what people are being told, this video is aimed at both legal & illiegal imigrants amd makes no attempt to differentiate between the two at any time on the ad. Which means that there is strong possibility that the Swiss government quite simply don't want any more black/non white people settling in Switzerland, that is unless your Lewis Hamilton (ie you have money), then one of the richest & most tax friendly countries in the world is only too willing to have you.

I wait with (sarcastically) baited breath to see whether these goings on set a precedent and other countries try to follow suit.
