the man just keeps on bowling me over (geddit?)
Sonnyjim can do no wrong. My favourite MC who spits pure fire. This time he borrows one of Chemo's gargantuan catalogue of superb beats. This is too bloody short Jim. Enjoy!
Sonnyjim - Roy Munson
sonnyjim gives a….
Sonnyjim’s aense of occasion has lead to his latest project with P’n’C Kosyne being given as freeness. It’s About Time features beats by Dag NAbit, Kelakovski, Apa-Tight & a name i haven’t heard for quite a while…. Fel Sweetenberg (big ups to Dave Ghetto). The infamous Foreign Beggars also make an appearance on this superb MC driven piece of freeness. Look out for the extended edition with remixes and bonus tracks coming soon. The accomanying clip is after the break.
a branch of sorts (or oooh what a lovely pair!)
For £3.00 we find Sonnyjim taking his vocal dexterity to a place where, in parts, he hasn’t taken it to before (‘Fully Charged’). Thanks to the beats put forward by the malleable beatsmith Wizard, Jim is in supreme form here. Its just a shame that they only go 6 tracks deep. But at such a low price we can’t have everything now can we. Enjoy!
i love my blue suede puma’s
Even more from Sonnyjim. This time it’s an EP with June25thbeatz. It’s all work work work with Jim but when the results are this good who cares! £3.00 isnt too much to ask either plus there’s more after the break. Enjoy!
sonny & share
And so my great Sonnyjim love in continues. This time its the first installment of Sonny jumping on everyone else’s bandwagons. Jon Phonics, Percy Filth, DJ IQ, Dr Syntaz, 184, Rerklews, Jazz T & more all had Sonnyjim doing to them what Eminem did to Jay-Z! 26 tracks deep too. enjoy!
associated mindfest: part 1
Anything involving Sonnyjim is a must grab! I’ve said too many times that the man is a demon. Beatbox Fozzy (aided by Dockmini) provides the type of backdrop that SJ thrives on. Apparently this the first release of Fozzy’s compilation album. If there is more to come like this then bring it on!
in the african sun
Ta Bomba! This man is a demon. He should be every MC’s favourite MC by now. 2 new tracks and both of them are superb. To be honest the African Honeymoon track is the stuff of legend as far as i’m concerned. Get involved!

RIP to all who served
WHAT THE HELL!!! Does this dude not know how to relax. Great single after great album after great EP after great freebie just keep on coming from Sonnyjim. This time it is Canadian beatsmith Elaquent providing the canvass for Jim to do his thing. No preview necessary… grab it and name your price (which won’t last forever).
psycho part 5 & 6
I don’t know how many times I can stress this…. DO NOT sleep on Sonnyjim! Hot on the heels of the awesome Psychonaut LP, comes the even better (yes better!) Psychonaut Remix LP. The venom exhibited by Sonnyjim is the stuff of legend and the one liners!?! But the key is the different vibe that comes through this time round. The Boom Bap backbone is evident but rather than smacking you aurally in the head it seems that Jim has now decided that more concentrated slaps are the order of the day.
The album is available HERE
peep the evidence after the break…
i get psycho, killer, norman bates…
It’s out real soon & i’ve pre-ordered mine. Sonnyjim’s Psychonaut is my most anticipated Hip Hop release his year. Illmind, DJ IQ, M-Phazes, Jehst, Pete Cannon, Kelakovski & Dag Nabit is a ridiculous list of beatsmirhs plus Jim’s brought Foreign Beggars & Prince Po along too. Peep the Preview!
nimbad
Bloody hell! This guy simply refuses to spit anything other than fire! Go ahead people, name your price.
(v)itol(ity)
Whoa! ! These guys are niiiice. this is the clip for the title track of the FREE debut release. The raw factor found throughout is superb. Although that is bound to disappear somewhat as they polish their mixes, the overall package bodes very well for the future. Plus my fave MC Sonnyjim is along for the ride on a couple of the cuts. The link and an extra clip can be found after the break.
oh what a Sonny day
Q U A L I T Y ! Everytime I hear this guy spit, i’m dumbfounded by his awesome flow. Never ever sleep on Sonny Jim!
nauty sample
As far as i’m concerned, anyone who says they are Hip Hop but aren’t involved when Sonny Jim is readying a release isn’t ready yet. Non UK heads if you don’t know get familiar. My man spits serious venom.
let’s make a Trade
M-Phazes, Jon Phonics, Kelakovski (twice), Wizard, Lotek, Sivey, Kosyne, Shears, 184…. These are the beatsmiths that Sonnyjim has assembled to form 10 tracks. You’ll be hard pressed to find a more consistent collection of 10 beats this year. and all for only £4.99 (plus P&P). Peep the snippets.
Running Late (Kosyne Remix)/On All Cylinders (Jon Phonics Remix) snippet
isn’t that the kingpin?
Newby(to me anyway) The Boss has come through with some neck snappers. Sonny Jim, Dr. syntax, Delusionists & Skrein are amonst the chosen few. Don’t sleep. I look forward to many more bruv.
Mr. Boss – The Landing

OOOOOOOH!!! Mudmowth & Metabeats have finished their forthcoming Sledgehammer Kisses EP (That should be a movie title). The first single, Maaad Tight, features Skamma and the indefatigable Sonny Jim. peep the radio friendly snippet. Enjoy!
